The objective of this course is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of ISO 17025:2017 standard for testing and calibration laboratories. The training aims to equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement and maintain a quality management system in compliance with the requirements of ISO 17025. Participants will learn practical strategies for ensuring accurate and reliable testing/calibration results, enhancing laboratory performance, and meeting international standards.
The course on ISO 17025 for Practitioners offers an in-depth curriculum covering all relevant aspects of the standard. Participants will be introduced to ISO 17025:2017, its scope, and its significance in laboratory accreditation and customer confidence. The course will provide a detailed overview of the key clauses and requirements of ISO 17025, including management requirements and technical requirements.
Participants will learn about quality management system essentials, document control, and personnel competence. The training will delve into measurement traceability, equipment calibration, and proficiency testing. Participants will also gain insights into method validation, measurement uncertainty, and reporting of results.

Participants will be assessed through a written multiple-choice exam. Successfully passing issues a certificate of competence.
Participants should have a basic understanding of laboratory practices and quality management concepts. Prior experience in a testing or calibration laboratory environment will be beneficial but is not mandatory. The course is ideal for laboratory practitioners, technicians, quality personnel, and individuals involved in implementing or maintaining a quality management system in line with ISO 17025:2017 requirements.
