The ISO 9001 Internal Auditor course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct effective internal audits of an organization’s quality management system (QMS) based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. In addition, participants will gain an understanding of the auditing principles and techniques outlined in the ISO 19011:2018 standard.
The course covers a range of topics, including an introduction to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and the ISO 19011:2018 standard. This includes an overview of the key concepts and terminology used in the standards, as well as an explanation of the auditing principles and practices that underpin them.
The internal auditing process is explored in detail, including planning and preparation for the audit, conducting the audit, reporting the audit findings, and following up on any non-conformities identified. Participants will learn how to use the ISO 19011:2018 standard as a guide for internal auditing, and how to propose corrective actions to address non-conformities.
The course also covers the specific requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Participants will gain an understanding of how internal auditing fits into the overall framework of continuous improvement, and how it can be used to identify opportunities for improvement in an organization’s QMS.
The course includes a detailed discussion of the documentation required for a QMS. Participants will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of an organization’s documentation and how to assess compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Participants will be assessed through a written multiple-choice exam and practical audit exercise for assessment. Passing issues a certificate of competence.
To participate in the course, participants are expected to have a basic understanding of quality management principles and the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. It is recommended that they have completed a foundation-level course on quality management systems prior to attending. This will ensure that participants have a solid foundation of knowledge and can fully engage in the course material.
